Before you say yes, ask yourself these questions :
- Are you mature, flexible, open-minded, committed and willing to make adjustments?
- Are you able to develop a stable relationship with a host family and fellow workers, and become part of a working team?
- Can you be polite, conscientious, courteous and avoid cultural political and economic value comparisons that might lead to conflict with hosts?
- Can you work long hours at certain peak times in the season. Farming in New Zealand can be labour intensive?
- Are you willing to try new experiences, and participate in activities?
Program Requirements :
In order to be a part of our program, we need you to fit the following requirements:
- Be single and between ages of 18-30 (up to 35 for winery)
- Able to understand a reasonable level of spoken English.
- Have at least one year’s experience in type of work
- Have a driver’s licence (International or official translation in English).
- Be covered by approved medical insurance, either from the home country partner or with RENZ inbound insurance
- Be in good health and not in possession of or using any drugs other than those recommended by a doctor
- Have a return or onward air ticket.
